This is the bidʿah of Irjāʾ about whose proponents the Salaf and the Imāms spoke severely against, and they said very harsh statements about it which are well-known.

I have mentioned the Murjiʾah in this book of ours at the beginning and end, since their saying is outside of what is common knowledge and reason.

Al-ʿAzīz, meaning the one who has overcome everything thing such that He has subdued it, and He has overcome all things.

And from what shows that the people of ḥadīth [adhering to the Prophetic traditions in all affairs of the religion] are the people of truth...

As for the Khārijites, they passed through the religion and separated from it. They broke loose from Islām and isolated themselves from the jamāʿah.

The majority of the people of the [various] religions responded to him...

The Khārijites were the first sect to break off from the main body of Muslims as foretold by the Prophet [sas].

Ibn Taymiyyah [rh] speaks of the way of the Muslims...

They do not cease striving in overturning the orderly affairs of the Muslims (into chaos) and splitting the word of the believers.

The Scholars of both the past and modern times have not differed over the Khārijites being an evil people, disobedient to Allāh, the Exalted and His Messenger [sas].
