To proceed, this earthquake is something by which Allāh [awj] reprimands the servants, and I have written to all the provinces...

In these reports is the prohibition of leaving the land of the plague [intending to] flee from it.

Exposing their condition and warning the Ummah about them is obligatory by unanimous agreement of the Muslims.

As for his saying: “There is no contagion”, then it is a prohibition from that anyone should say: “A thing passes [what it has] to another thing.”

Ways that bring about Love (of Allāh) and necessitate it, and they are ten in number...

Know may Allāh have mercy upon you that Islām and its people are attacked and destroyed by three groups...

So Allāh is Blessed and Exalted from that evil should be ascribed to him. Rather, everything that is ascribed to him is good. Evil only becomes evil when it ceases to be attributed and ascribed to Him...

There are generalities [shared between them] and specifics [unique to each of them]. Shirk is more general than kufr, for every mushrik is a kāfir but not every kāfir is a mushrik.

The year is a tree, and the months are its branches, and the days are its twigs, and the hours are its leaves and the minutes are its fruits.

The parable of those who disbelieve in their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a stormy day, they shall not be able to get aught of what they have earned.
