Pfizer Agrees to Settle More Than 10,000 Zantac Cancer Suits

Under normal circumstances, a pharmacist who routinely kills or injures people, and is found guilty of fraud, deception and lies would be exposed and distrusted forever. Similarly, one who is caught lying again and again would never be trusted in his reports ever again.
However, in the modern era, in the era of corporations, of regulatory capture and of corruption, bought out politicians and concentration of wealth in fewer and fewer hands which allows bribery, then companies like Pfizer can offend again and again, make tens, if not hundreds of billions, and suffer no consequences when fined millions or some billions for their crimes.
Pfizer Inc. has agreed to settle more than 10,000 cases accusing it of hiding the cancer risks of its Zantac heartburn drug, according to people familiar with the deal, the biggest of the litigation.
The agreements cover cases in state courts across the US but don’t completely resolve the company’s exposure to Zantac claims, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the settlement publicly. Financial details of the accords weren’t immediately available.

Pfizer has now moved into the oncology business (cancer treatments). This is after the synthetic, modified-RNA gene-therapy drugs are inducing aggressive cancers in people, including the young.
