Following up on his earlier tweet on the kufrī creed of the “Abrahamic House of Worship”, Shaykh ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḍhufayrī(حفظه الله) tweeted today:
This is the religion of the Prophet Muḥammad and Ibrāhīm (عليهما الصلاة والسلام). The Exalted said: “Say [O Muḥammad]: ‘Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, a correct religion, the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allāh.’” (6:161). And the Exalted said: “Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists.” (3:67).

Comment:
01 Refer to the previous article for evidences from the Qurʾān for the disbelief of the People of the Book, which means their worship is vain because it is founded upon associationism and disbelief.
02 As the Shaykh (حفظه الله) indicated, there are hands in motion to call the youth of the Gulf from Tawḥīd to shirk, from piety and chastity to degeneracy and depravity, just as there are hands in motion in other Muslim countries too. The starting point of that is the dissolution and abolition of what separates sound, authentic religion from altered, abrogated religion.
03 Abraham (عليه السلام) was neither a Jew and nor a Christian and the Torah and Gospel were not revealed until after him:
O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason? (3:65)
Imām al-Baghawī (رحمه الله) said:
His saying: (the verse), you claim that he was upon your religion, but your religion is Judaism and Christianity. And Judaism appeared after the revelation of the Torah and Christianity appeared after the revelation of the Gospel. And [both] the Torah and Gospel were revealed after Abraham by a very long time… «Then will you not reason?» about the futility of your saying?
04 The Muslims are more worthy of Abraham, Moses and Jesus (عليهم السلام) because they are upon their way in truth, of Tawḥīd. They have authentic scripture and the law (Sharīʿah) which combines the firmness of the Torah (in its proper place) and the gentleness and of the Gospel (in its proper place), and the People of the Book have deviated from from Tawḥid and the law, and have nothing with them but altered scripture and altered religion that were abrogated with the sending of the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم). And whoever rejects the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) has rejected Abraham, Moses and Jesus (عليهم السلام) by textual judgement of the Qurʾān.
05 On all the abovementioned counts, the notion of an “Abrahamic House of Worship” is futile and opposes the explicit verses of the Qurʾān.
May Allāh (عز وجل) reward Shaykh ʿAbd Allāh for clarifying and speaking the truth.
Note: One should understand that in general—without this being necessarily connected to the above—where the ideas and doctrines of the Ṣūfīs are found and harboured, they pave the way for the appearance of the doctrine of the Unity of Existence (وحدة الوجود) and that in turn necessitates the Unity of Religions (وحدة الأديان).
