POINT 4: This issue of overpopulation originates because of the theory of Malthus.

There is a man called Malthus who brought this theory, which is like other garbage theories the enemies of Islam have brought such as the theories of Freud and Darwin and others. They have used these theories to attack us, our societies and our youth. These theories have affected many societies, they have had strong effect in the West in particular.

This is why they strive to control the population and fertility.

Kissinger, former foreign minister of the US, devised policies to address the rising world population. They are agreed upon the goal of reducing the world population. After this, it is a matter of how they were going to do it. They do it through plots, through conspiracies.

The Malthusian theory is established pseudoscience, disproven by history, and asserts that population grows exponentially while food production only grows linearly and as a result, wars, famines are inevitable, and that people will outgrow resources. Thus, keeping the population levels down is desirable.

The ideas of Malthus (overpopulation) are merged with those of Darwin (evolution, survival of the fittest) and Eugenics (eliminating undesirables). However, in the second half of the 20th century these ideas were renamed and the policies built upon them are marketed through lofty-sounding and deceptive slogans.

Increase in populations affects the balance of power in economic and political terms, especially when it is in areas of minerals, deposits, riches, agriculture and so on. For this reason, it has become a matter of national security for Western nations, and in this regard, mechanisms were devised to proactively address this threat.

  Investigations by EIR have uncovered a planning apparatus operating outside the control of the White House whose sole purpose is to reduce the world's population by 2 billion people through war, famine, disease, and any other means necessary.

  This apparatus, which includes various levels of the government, is determining U.S.foreign policy. In every political hotspot-EI Salvador, the so-called arc of crisis in the Persian Gulf, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and in Africa-the goal of U.S.foreign policy is population reduction. The targeting agency for the operation is the National Security Council's Ad Hoc Group on Population Policy. Its policy-planning group is in the U.S. State Department's Office of Population Affairs, established in 1975 by Henry Kissinger.

  This group drafted the Carter administration's Global 2000 document, which calls for global population reduction, and the same apparatus is conducting the civil war in EI Salvador as a conscious depopulation project. "There is a single theme behind all our work-we must reduce population levels," said Thomas Ferguson, the Latin American case officer for the State Department's Office of Population Affairs (OPA). "Either they [governments] do it our way, through nice clean methods or they will get the kind of mess that we have in EI Salvador, or in Iran, or in Beirut. Population is a political problem. Once population is out of control it requires authoritarian government, even fascism, to reduce it.

• In 1969, Planned Parenthood produced a memo recommending strategies for population control. Shaykh `Ali (حفظه الله) mentioned how these people implement these policies through plots and conspiracies. The greatest and most subtle of their means lies in the arena of medicine coupled with their claims of wanting to eliminate disease and death. This is strange, since they also believe, fervently and fanatically, that the Earth’s population has way overstepped its limits.
