So this (treachery of the Rāfiḍah such as aiding invading armies against the Muslims) and its likes has been observed by the people and it has reached the one who did not see it directly by overwhelming transmission.

If I was to mention what I have heard and seen of the effects of that, the book would become lengthy, and others besides me have reports and details that I do not know.

This is an affair witnessed from them (the Rāfiḍah Shiʿah), aiding the disbelievers against the Muslims and preferring the predominance of disbelief and its people over Islām and its people.

If we imagine that [Sunni] Muslims were oppressors, sinnners and manifesting various types of innovations which are greater (in evil) than reviling ʿAlī and ʿUthmān, the intelligent person would look at the best of two goods and the worst of two evils.

Do you not see that Ahl al-Sunnah, alongside what they say about the Khawārij, Rawāfiḍ and others from Ahl al-Bidaʿ, they still do not aid the disbelievers against their religion (i.e. of the Khawārij and Rāfiḍah), and nor do they prefer the predominance of disbelief and its people over the predominance of innovation that is less than that (i.e. disbelief).

But when the Rāfiḍah gain a foothold, they do not show restraint (piety). Look at what happened in the state of Sulṭān Khudābandā, the one for whom this book (of the Rāfiḍī) was written, how evil appeared among them which if it remained and strengthened, they would have destroyed the generality of the symbols [of creed and worship] of Islām!

However, they desire to extinguish the light of Allāh with their mouths, and Allāh refuses except that He will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers detest it.
